The Path & Purpose learning series is designed to equip leadership-track professionals with the skills and confidence to use their passions and emotional IQ to drive growth, inspire excellence, and maximize performance. This event is created to address the issues that prevent leadership growth and excellence.
You will rediscover and engage your passion, empathy, and creativity, while enhancing communication skills that partner with your human-centered leadership style. Our learning series will help you demonstrate authenticity, identify your purpose, and learn to activate these attributes to define career goals. You’ll learn from hands-on demonstration and real-world applications on how to lead with conviction, motivate and influence teams, and accelerate performance and growth for your organization. This series will challenge your ideas and assumptions about leadership and yourself while re-centering your most powerful leadership attribute, your humanity.
All sessions will be recorded so that participants can (re)listen or review them on-demand for further learning and note-taking. Participants can also take part in exclusive discussion groups with other learners.
This learning series will provide:

— Exploration of internal and external demonstrated belief systems and their impact on your leadership

Series Overview
Session 1 — Destination Success: Where Are You Going & Why
Presenter: Robert Heath, Sr. | Oct. 1, 3–4:30 p.m. EDT
How many times have you taken a skills or personality assessment, wow-ed at the report, and then filed it away never to be seen again?
This session provides a guided examination of your career journey directly positioned alongside professional assessments to help you define your passions and patterns. You will learn to identify your own strengths, stress behaviors, emotional triggers, and natural leadership style. You’ll use these discoveries to explore your current career path and uncover misalignments in your career and leadership journey. Having increased emotional intelligence and clarified your statement of purpose, you will engage a new framework to re-design your career roadmap and accelerate your career position from leader capable to successful leader execution.
We’ll focus on:
- Insights from several assessment models to gain a broader understanding of what drives you and what makes you pause
- Distilling information to create a concise leadership statement of purpose
- Identifying your leadership attributes to understand how best they create value in the market and opportunity for your career growth
Session 2 — Navigating Your Leadership Journey

Leadership requires the skills to pivot, formulate, and pursue, and your leadership journey is no different.
This session provides deep exploration into the form and function of succinct decision-making skills. The session expands on the assessments, discovery, and career alignment efforts initiated in the first event by activating the decision mechanism for determining your career and leadership journey. You’ll learn strategies to organize decisions by motivating factors and skills to clearly define boundaries for goal alignment. Through practical application, you will increase speed and clarity in decision-making with defined leadership attributes to inform and enable your optimal leadership roadmap.
We’ll focus on:
- Using newly discovered leader attributes to align your career growth goals
- Strategies to improve organizational skills that focus on distinguishing growth instead of a limiting, fearful mindset
- Improving your prioritization and decision-making skills
Session 3 — The Belief Battery
Presenter: Robert Heath, Sr. | Oct. 15, 6:00pm - 7:30pm EDT
People do what they believe, everything else is just talk.
In this session, you will uncover your core beliefs on leadership, influence, and success to better understand their impact on your current leadership journey. You will gain insight on the connection between your beliefs and emotional IQ, and master strategies to prioritize, modify, and activate your belief battery towards career and leadership goals. Having gained insights about your own beliefs and their role in your professional experiences, you will learn techniques to incorporate your team’s belief batteries to impact overall, sustained performance.
We’ll focus on:
- Identifying your core beliefs regarding leadership to build a custom holistic, human-centered leadership roadmap
- Understanding how your fears and limiting beliefs influence emotional IQ and barriers to career growth
- Using your belief discoveries to demonstrate leadership humanity and activate human-centered growth goals for your teams and organization
Session 4 — Voice & Presence: How to Captivate the Room
Presenters: Robert Heath & Sr. Byron Fitch | Oct. 22, 3–4:30 p.m. EDT
Have you ever wrestled with the question—if I missed this meeting, would anyone even notice?
This session provides deep exploration of verbal and non-verbal communication skills, mood, and posture to help you lead conversations with a memorable presence and powerful voice. You will learn how to use facial expressions, body language, gestures, and the power of silence to influence workgroups, peer leadership teams, and executive leaders by driving performance for your organization by your very presence.
We’ll focus on:
- Communication skills to clarify and convey your ideas with conviction
- Developing skills in negotiation, sales, and motivation to build trust and influence your teams and peers for greater performance
- Effective communication skills such as visuals queues, body language, and other non-verbal methods to build posture
Session 5 — Presence Into Power: Become the Go-to Leader In the Room
Presenters: Melissa Entzminger & Robert Heath, Sr. | Oct. 29, 3–4:30 p.m. EDT
This session takes you from presence to trusted decision-maker. You will develop deeper knowledge of communication strategies introduced in Session 4 through real-world application, case study examinations, and situational exercises. You’ll improve your ability to motivate and influence others while gaining hands-on experience as a trusted-advisor. Relying on your humanity attributes—sound judgement, empathy, and courage—through iterative demonstration in prioritization and decision-making, this session provides an interactive guided environment to polish leadership communication skills.
We’ll focus on:
- Improving engaged communication skills including active listening, decision-making, and problem-solving
- Learning to distinguish between the professional functions of recommendations and advisement
- Using human-centered leader attributes along with voice and presence to enable leader confidence and audience trust
